The Day Dream Project

Have you ever heard a resident say, "I wish that I could..." or "It's been so long since I've...."

That's why the Day Dream Project was developed in March of 2005.  It provides a way to fulfill a resident's specific request, which may be a normal everyday activity of individuals without physical restrictions.  It is partially funded by a non-profit organization for residents of Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center along with individual donations and memorials. A request is granted if it is found to be physically and/or financially within the means of the project. Meet the group of employees known as the Day Dream Team who help make the dreams come true:

The Day Dream Team averages two dreams per month. So far we have fulfilled dreams from Chicken Pluckin’ to a catered Chinese Dinner. If you would like to assist in a Day Dream call 252-5881 and ask for a team member.
