Hi-Acres Manor began its delivery of care in 1962 under the auspices of the District Council of the Assemblies of God.  Reverend G.L. Riffe, Sr. was the founder and first administrator. The facility grew from a 60-bed facility to a 104-bed facility in 1968.  In 1976, the Assemblies of God District Council sold the facility to a nonprofit corporation, Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center, Inc. In May of 1980 Hi-Acres added a third addition to the facility bringing the bed capacity to 142. The facility is licensed by Medicare, Medicaid, and the Veterans Administration.

In 1982, Hi-Acres Manor was sold to a closely held family corporation, 3-R's Heritage Nursing Center, Ltd. In April of 1997, Health & Care Management, Ltd, with the same board of directors as 3-R's Heritage Nursing Center, Ltd., became the operating company for Hi-Acres Manor.

A specially designed addition for Alzheimer's/dementia was opened in February of 1997. Future additions or services are being planned that will benefit the residents and community we serve.

On July 1, 2010 Hi-Acres Manor became Eventide at Hi-Acres, part of the Eventide Senior Living Communities. Our corporate office is located at 2405 8th Stree South, Suite A, Moorhead, MN 56560.
