Gary M Riffe, CNHA Fellow - Administrator/President
Gary began service to Hi-Acres Manor in 1977 as Assistant Administrator. In 1980 he assumed the role of Administrator, a position he has since maintained. Gary was licensed in Long Term Care Administration in 1971 and has operated homes in Montana and South Dakota. Gary is the first administrator in North Dakota to become certified through the American College of Health Care Administrators and has served as their president. Gary is also a founding member and past president of the North Dakota Long Term Care Association.

Nancy Burgard - Office Manager
Nancy joined the Hi-Acres Manor team as Office Manager in 1999 with 15 years of banking and accounting experience. Nancy graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

Sharlene B Gumke, RN - Director of Nursing Services
Shar has been a part of the Hi-Acres Manor team since 1981 when she began service as the Assistant Director of Nursing. She assumed her current role in 1982. Shar received her Bachelor of Arts degree in nursing from Jamestown College and has done post graduate work through the University of Phoenix. Shar has been recognized by Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is a recipient of the North Dakota Long Term Care Association's distinguished service award.

Jodi Bredahl, LSW - Director of Admissions and Social Services
Jodi, a Kensal, North Dakota native, has been a part of the Hi-Acres Manor team from 1980 to 1984 and from 1995 to the present. Jodi graduated from Moorhead State University in 1980 with a Bachelor in Social Work degree. Jodi also has been employed at South Central Human Service Center and the ND State Hospital.

Joan Martin, RN - Quality Assurance/Staff Development
Joan is a life long resident of North Dakota, a graduate of Jamestown College, receiving degrees in nursing and sociology. Joan has been employed in numerous capacities in the community, having been licensed as both an RN and a Social Worker. Joan joined the Hi-Acres Manor team on a part-time basis in 1987. After retirement from Social Services, she was then employed full-time by Hi-Acres Manor. She previously served in the capacity as an Evening Nursing Supervisor. Her current position as Quality Assurance Manager also includes Risk Management and Staff Development. |

Nancy Steckler - Activity Director
Nancy has been a part of the Hi-Acres Manor team since 1984 and has been Activity Director since 1987. Nancy graduated from Lake Region State College with an Associate degree in recreation. Nancy leads her team in planning activities to meet the needs and interests of all the residents. Also as the volunteer coordinator, Nancy manages the recruitment, training, and recognition of Hi-Acres Manor volunteers. She is the co-chair of the Day Dream Team at Hi-Acres Manor.

David Fisher, Rev. DMin - Chaplain
David has been a part of the Hi-Acres Manor team since 2002. An ordained minister, he has been in the ministry since 1994. Additionally, David is ecclesiastically endorsed as a Nursing Home Chaplain. He holds several degrees including a Doctorate of Ministry with a special focus on end of life issues.

Robin Gumke - Human Resource Coordinator
Robin joined the Hi-Acres Manor team in 1987 as a certified nursing assistant. Currently, Robin serves as the Human Resource Coordinator with her main focus being recruitment of new employees as well as employee benefits. She is involved in the Risk Management/Workforce Safety Insurance program and is the Chair of the Day Dream Team. Robin has also served on the Health Careers Advisory Committee since 1998.

Robert Bieber - Dietary Manager/Environmental Services
Bob joined the Hi-Acres Manor team in 1981 as the supervisor of food servies. He has assumed additional responsibilities to include purchasing for nursing services, supervising the laundry department, and managing environmental services. Bob served as past vice president and is currently president of the North Dakota Environmental Services Association.

Kimberly Wiese, LRD - Licensed Registered Dietitian
Kim joined Hi-Acres Manor in 1989 as clinical dietitian. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition/dietetics. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the North Dakota Dietetic Association. Kim is originally from Minnesota and continues to have family there.

Debra Doeling, RHIT - Registered Health Information Technician
/Privacy and Security Officer
Deb has been part of the Hi-Acres Manor team since 1992 after graduating from NDSCS with an Associate degree in health information technology. Previously she served four years in the US Army stationed at Scholfield Barracks in Hawaii with two temporary assignments to South Korea. Deb is a member of the national chapter of the American Health Information Management Association and NDHIMA. She serves as the Privacy and Security Officer for Hi-Acres Manor.
